Complimentary Wedding Box

Our deep depth wedding dress storage box, combined with acid free tissue will provide a pH neutral and safe environment in which to keep your wedding dress, just before (if you are travelling) and after your special day.  The box will help to protect your dress from dust and harmful effects.  It also has a carry handle for ease of carrying.

It comes supplied with 12 sheets of acid free white tissue paper to layer between your wedding dress.  This is the professional way to store any delicate item such as your wedding dress, lingerie, veils etc.

Storage Tips!

ALWAYS dry clean your wedding dress as soon as possible after your wedding.  The dry cleaner should be someone who specialises in cleaning wedding dresses.  Cleaning removes stains that may show later on and cleaning fluid can be an insect deterrent.  If you are travelling straight after your wedding leave it with a trustworthy friend and ask them to dry clean it for you until your return. The cost of having your wedding dress can vary and the more expensive your dream dress, the higher the dry cleaning costs could be.  Prices can be from £50 to £150 and you should always double check if and how much insurance the dry cleaners are offering. 

Make sure you are not storing your dress in an area that is prone to high humidity, such as the attic or the other extreme somewhere damp like the basement.  Changes in temperature could risk a higher increase in the deterioration of the dress.  The best places to store the wedding box can often be in a wardrobe or under the bed.

Do not store your dress in a room or area that has a known history of damp or insects!

Unpack your dress at least once a year, every six months is even better.  This will help to prevent creases becoming too permanent.  Plus it gives you a chance to look over your dress and let those memories come rushing back of your wedding day!

If you are not boxing up your dress be extra careful to store it away from any artificial lights (as well as sunlight) to save the fabric from fading.
